At the EDB Agricultural Products Booth, visitors can discover and source premium Sri Lankan spices, wellness foods, and value-added products directly from the exporters. Each participating company has been selected for its export readiness, product quality, and commitment to the Japanese market. Sri Lanka National Pavilion at Foodex 2026, Tokyo, Japan

The Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) is organizing a National Pavilion at the Foodex 2026 International Food and Beverage Exhibition, which will be held from 10th to 13th March 2026 in Tokyo, Japan.

Foodex Japan is one of Asia’s oldest and largest food and beverage trade shows. It provides an excellent platform for producers, exporters, and buyers to connect, exchange expertise, and explore business opportunities, knowledge, and technology in one place.

Objectives of the National Pavilion

Enable Sri Lankan companies to display and promote certified products, particularly targeting the Japanese and Asian markets.
Provide participants with an opportunity to study new trends in the international food and beverage industry.

Pre-Fair Promotional Event

A pre-fair promotional event will be organized from 7th to 9th March 2026. This event aims to:

Promote Sri Lankan agricultural products and participating companies.
Provide market exposure to company representatives before the trade fair.

Product Categories Represented at the Pavilion

Spices & Spice Products: Spice mixtures, seasonings, instant spice preparations, herbal beverages, gift pack spices, and PGI-certified Ceylon Cinnamon products.
Processed Foods: Frozen, dehydrated, and preserved fruits & vegetables, fruit juices, canned and bottled products.
Coconut-Based Products: Desiccated coconut, coconut milk, cream & powder, coconut/king coconut water, flavoured coconut chips, etc.
Confectionery & Bakery Products: Specialty convenient foods, cereals & cereal-based products, health foods, and food supplements.

The Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) , in partnership with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), organises Sri Lanka's participation at FOODEX Japan 2026 , Asia's largest international food and beverage exhibition., Seven carefully selected Sri Lankan exporters will exhibit under the EDB Agricultural Products Booth, presenting premium spices, health foods, and value-added products to Japanese and overseas buyers and importers.
